Appreciation by Grand Ayatollah Saafi Golpaygani

for the dignified step of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Sipah-e-Pasdaran)

In a meeting with a group of students and scholars from the Qom’s religious seminary, indicating towards the recent steps of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Grand Ayatollah Saafi Golpaygani, expressed his appreciation for the significant steps taken by the brave and courageous Armed Forces.

In addition, his highness regarded the Power of the Armed Forces a matter of great national pride and said: The nation’s dignity lies in the power of our Armed Forces, and praise be to Allah, they have achieved glorious victories in this regard that has resulted in the happiness and pride of the great Iranian Nation.

His highness, in another section of his speech, prayed for greater and further success of the Armed forces and supplicated for the destruction of the enemies of Islam; then added: If Allah wills, under the shadow of the grace, patronage and guidance of Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance), and by following the sacred teachings of Islam, the greatness and glory of the Islamic nation and the Armed Forces will exceed, and the enemies of Islam will be subjugated and subdued.
