The Message of Shia Grand Ayatollah on the incident of Terrorism in Afghanistan
In the name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
And whoever is killed wrongfully, We have certainly given his heir an authority.
The tragic incident of the martyrdom and injury of several innocent children and oppressed human beings in Afghanistan, by the hands of a God-ignorant, brutal and inhuman group, has caused deep pain and agony for the Islamic world.
In the holy month of Ramadan, the month of mercy and divine hospitality, a group of foreign agents and enemies of humanity, left a large number of fasting Muslim families as mourners and caused great damage to the body of the Islamic world.
If the Islamic countries and the nation of the honourable Messenger of Islam (peace be upon him and his household) had condemned such horrific atrocities and if they had broken their silence against the enemies of Islam, and furthermore, if they hadn’t accepted disgrace and humiliation, then a group of people who superseded the wild animals, would not show the audacity of performing such terrifying atrocities and would not dare to distort the image of our beloved Islam in the view of the world.
I strongly condemn this painful incident and along with conveying my heartfelt condolences to all the aggrieved families and the honourable nation of Afghanistan, I request Allah (SWT) to raise the souls of the beloved martyrs of this incident along with His Holiness, the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husain (peace be upon him), and I pray for the complete recovery of the ill and the injured people.
